Rotonda Elks Support Lemon Bay Students

Rotonda Elks Lodge 2710 presented a check for $500 to Lemon Bay High School. The funds will be used to assist students in need of financial aid. Continued support of our local schools is an important part of Rotonda Elks charitable efforts.

Rotonda Elks Lodge 2710 presented Pat Knox, Coordinator at St. David's Jubilee Center Food Pantry with a check for $750. She talked about the upcoming Holiday Season and how the need for assistance seems to grow every year. You can see the caring in her eyes, hear it in her voice. The Food Pantry is open 5 days a week, serving families in the Englewood area. The Center also has a Cold Night Shelter that is open to the homeless once temperatures drop below 40 degrees and a Free Clothing Closet available to families using the Food Pantry.

ROTONDA ELKS PRESENT CHECK TO ENGLEWOOD BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

Tiffany Square Plaza in Englewood is the home of the Englewood Boys & Girls Club. Rotonda Elks 2710 provided the clubs after-school program with some financial assistance this week in the form of a check for $750. The clubs after-school program provides a safe place where local children are surrounded by professional, caring adults with a strong  emphasis on assisting  children in learning outside of the classroom.
